Ingredients

- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
- 1CupMilk
- 1CupCorn oil
- 2.5CupFlour
- 1PinchSalt
- 1PacketDream Cake Chef powder

Place 1½ cups sugar, 4 eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla in a bowl.

Mix well with a hand or electric mixer until the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes light and fluffy (about 3–4 minutes).

Add the milk and oil, then whisk again for 2–3 minutes until well combined.

Add the sifted flour (2½ cups) along with the salt and the Dream Cake Chef packet.

Mix the flour into the batter with a spatula using folding motions from bottom to top, or mix with the electric whisk on low speed for no more than 2 minutes until the flour is fully incorporated.

Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking pan.

Place the pan in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) and bake for 35–40 minutes until the cake is golden and cooked through.

Test doneness with a wooden skewer—if it comes out clean, the cake is ready.

Turn the cake out onto a cooling rack while it’s still hot to prevent sticking.
