Steps

    Boil the potatoes with a little turmeric until they are three-quarters cooked.

    In another saucepan, add water and cook the lentils and washed basmati rice until they are fully cooked.

    After the potatoes have cooled, grind them with the rice and lentils using a meat grinder.

    Add the black pepper, salt, and breadcrumbs to the mixture and stir well until the ingredients are combined

    To prepare the meat filling, saute the onion in a little olive oil until it wilts, then add the minced meat, black pepper, mixed spices, and stir until the meat is cooked.

    Add the fried pine nuts to the meat and stir well.

    To prepare the cheese filling, we mix cheddar cheese, mozzarella, and Edam together.

    We add thyme and parsley to the cheese filling

    We shape the kibbeh dough into evenly sized balls as shown in the video.

    We moisten our hands with a little water, then fill the kibbeh with one of the fillings and seal it well.

    Coat the kibbeh in breading with a little parsley to ensure extra crunch when frying.

    Fry the kibbeh in hot, heavy oil until golden and crispy.
