- 0.5Psc.Red bell pepper
- 0.5Psc.Green pepper

- 2Teaspoons (tsp)Hot pepper paste

We place the onion, red pepper, green pepper, and tomato in a bowl with the kofta.

We season the mixture with salt and black pepper, and add chili to taste.

We mix all the ingredients well until fully combined.

We stuff the bread with a thin layer of the kofta mixture.

We brush both sides of the bread generously with olive oil.

We place the bread on the baking tray lined with parchment paper.

We bake the arayes in the oven at 180°C (356°F) on the middle rack until golden on both sides (flipping halfway).

Tips It’s important to remove the tomato seeds to avoid extra moisture in the kofta. Thick bread is preferred so it doesn’t tear while stuffing. A splash of pomegranate molasses can be added for extra tanginess.
