Ingredients
- 1CupCoarse semolina
- 1CupFlour
- 1Grams (g) Instant yeast
- 1PinchSalt
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Roasted sesame
- 0.25CupSugar
- 0.25CupOlive oil
- 0.5CupWarm water
- 0.5CupBlack Seed Tahini
- 1CupAlmonds

Place the coarse semolina, flour, yeast, salt, roasted sesame seeds, and sugar in a bowl.

Add the olive oil and mix the ingredients well.

Gradually add the tahini and stir until the ingredients are well combined

Gradually add warm water and knead until you get a smooth dough.

Grease a baking tray with tahini and place the dough in it.

Spread the dough evenly in the tray.

Cut the dough into squares.

Garnish with almonds

Cover the tray with aluminum foil and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Place the tray in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes.

To prepare the syrup: We mix ½ cup of sugar and ½ cup of water in a pot and let it boil over medium heat. Then, we add a squeeze of lemon. Once the syrup boils and thickens slightly, we leave it to cool completely before pouring it over the tray of Habbat al-Barakah.

After removing it from the oven, pour the cold syrup over it.
