Ingredients

  • 0.5CupBrown flour
  • 0.5CupOat flour
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Baking powder
  • 0.5PacketYeast
  • 1PinchSalt
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
  • 1CupSkimmed Milk
  • 1CupHoney
  • 1Psc.Dates
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Strained Yogurt

Steps

    Add whole wheat flour, oat flour, baking powder, yeast, salt, vanilla, milk, and honey to a blender.

    Blend well until you get a smooth and consistent batter.

    Let the batter rest for just 5 minutes.

    Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat without adding any oil or butter.

    Pour small portions of the batter into the pan and cook until bubbles form on the surface and the top side dries.

    Remove the qatayef from the pan and cover them with a clean towel to keep them soft.

    Stuff the katayef with the labneh, date and honey mixture or to taste and serve immediately.
