    Step 1: Prepare the sauce In a bowl, combine half a cup of brown sugar with half a cup of water, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Add half a cup of soy sauce and two tablespoons of sesame oil, then mix well. Set aside.

Add one tablespoon of hot red pepper, one tablespoon of minced garlic, and one tablespoon of freshly grated ginger. Stir for a minute until the aromas are released.
