  • 2CupMilk
  • 200CanCheddar
  • 200SlicesGouda Cheese
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Fresh Chives

Steps

    Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.

    In a pot, melt the butter on low heat.

    Add the flour and paprika and stir for 2 minutes on low heat. Add the Dijon mustard and stir briefly.

    Gradually add the milk while stirring constantly over medium heat until the mixture thickens slightly.

    Grate the cheeses (it’s best to grate them at home instead of buying pre-grated cheese).

    Gradually add the cheeses into the mixture while stirring continuously Only add the cheese when the first part has completely melted to ensure a smooth sauce.

    Add three-quarters of the cheese, reserving the remaining quarter for topping later. Add the pasta to the sauce and mix well.

    In a baking dish, pour the pasta, top with the remaining cheese and chives. Bake in a preheated oven at a high temperature until golden brown (baking time will depend on your oven).
