Lentil Soup

We start by running the Instant Pot for the first time on the test mode with some water to make sure all functions work properly.

We set the pot to the Sauté mode.

We add olive oil and butter to the inner pot.

We add the chopped vegetables: carrots, onions, garlic, and tomatoes.

We add salt, pepper, paprika, turmeric, cumin, and coriander to the vegetables.

We stir and sauté the mixture until the vegetables start to soften and the spices release their aroma.

We add the washed and soaked lentils to the pot.

We sauté the lentils briefly with the vegetables and spices.

We pour in the hot broth and stir well.

We set the pot to Soup mode for 20 minutes.
