Ingredients
- 2.5CupFlour
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Baking powder
- 1CupSugar
- 0.75Grams (g) Butter
- 1Cuporange juice
- 4Psc.eggs
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
- 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Cocoa
- 1PinchSaffron
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Vinegar

Break 4 eggs and add them to the mixture with a teaspoon of vanilla and a teaspoon of vinegar. Mix the ingredients well using a hand or electric mixer until we get a smooth texture.

Add the sugar and butter and continue mixing. Then add the cup of orange juice and orange peel and mix well.

Divide the mixture into two equal parts in two separate bowls.

For the first half: Add two tablespoons of cocoa powder with a teaspoon of orange juice and stir the mixture well until the cocoa is combined.

For the second half: (Optional) Add a small pinch of saffron powder and stir the mixture, or leave it as it is with its natural color.

Grease the cake pan with butter or oil and sprinkle a little flour to prevent the cake from sticking.

Pour the two mixtures alternately (a spoon of the yellow mixture then a spoon of the cocoa mixture) to get a marble effect.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the pan in the oven and bake the cake for 40-45 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly before removing it from the pan. You can decorate it with a sprinkle of powdered sugar or fresh orange slices, if desired.
