Ingredients
- 280Grams (g) Butter
- 1.5CupSugar
- 4Psc.eggs
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
- 1To TasteCrushed pistachios
- 1CupAlmond flour
- 1CupSemolina flour
- 1.5Tablespoons (tbsp)Baking powder
- 1Psc.Lemon zest
- 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Rose water

Place the butter in a bowl and mash it well until smooth.

Add the sugar to the butter and mix well until creamy.

Add the eggs and vanilla and mix until fully combined

Add the almond flour and mix thoroughly.

Add the semolina flour with the baking powder and gently mix until combined.

Add the crushed pistachios and stir well into the mixture.

Add the grated lemon zest and mix.

Add the rose water and mix until the batter is smooth and uniform.

Grease a baking pan with butter and spread the batter evenly in the pan.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 40–45 minutes until cooked through.

Immediately after baking, brush the cake with a syrup made of honey and rose water while it is still hot.

Decorate the cake with powdered sugar glaze and crushed pistachios before serving.
