  • 2CupPanko bread crumbs
  • 3Teaspoons (tsp)Dried Thymus
  • 250Grams (g) Halloumi cheese

Steps

    Beat 2 eggs with 2–3 tablespoons of flour and add 1 teaspoon of thyme, mixing well to prepare the egg and flour mixture.

    Mix 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs with 2 teaspoons of thyme in another plate to prepare the second panko mixture.

    Cut 250–300 grams of halloumi cheese into medium-thick slices.

    Dip the halloumi slices in the egg and flour mixture until fully coated.

    Transfer the slices to the panko mixture and coat them well with breadcrumbs

    Place the coated halloumi slices on parchment paper and freeze for 1 hour to firm up.

    Heat vegetable oil in a pan, then fry the halloumi slices on each side until golden and crispy.

    Serve the fried halloumi hot
