Crispy Qatayef
Ingredients

- 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Cardamom powder
- 0.5To TasteCrushed pistachios

To prepare the syrup: Put 1½ cups of sugar and 1½ cups of water in a saucepan on the fire, stir until the sugar dissolves, then add lemon juice

Allow the mixture to boil for 7-10 minutes until it reaches a light consistency. Remove from the heat and let it cool completely

Place the dates, milk, cream cheese, cinnamon, and cardamom in a food processor.

Blend well until you get a smooth and creamy texture.

Cut each qatayef piece in half.

Cook the qatayef in the oven, air fryer, or deep-fry them in oil until golden and crispy.

While they are still hot, dip them briefly into cold syrup so they soak just enough without becoming soggy.

Dip the edges of the qatayef in the date cream.

Garnish with crushed pistachios or any nuts you like.

Arrange on a serving plate and serve warm or at room temperature.
