Steps

    Place fennel, cardamom, cinnamon stick, galangal, black pepper, bay leaves, cloves, dried chili, and rose buds in a frying pan.

    Roast the ingredients over the heat until fragrant, stirring continuously to avoid burning

    Add Chinese cubeb, ginger, and turmeric to the roasted ingredients.

    Grind all the ingredients thoroughly in a spice grinder until fine powder forms.

    Store the spice mix in a tightly sealed glass jar.
