    We place the warm water, flour, semolina, powdered milk, sugar, yeast, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into the blender.

    We blend the mixture for 5 minutes.

    We stop the blender halfway and scrape down the sides with a spoon.

    We let the batter rest for 10 minutes.

    We pour the batter onto the hot griddle in small rounds, one after the other.

    Cover the qatayef with a cotton towel until they cool down.

    We fill the qatayef with cream or cheese, as desired.

    We close the qatayef well.

    We either fry the qatayef in plenty of oil or bake them in the oven after brushing them with a little oil.

    We decorate the qatayef with ground pistachios and pour syrup over them before serving.
