  • 2CupSugar
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Baking powder
  • 0.25Grams (g) Instant yeast
  • 1PinchSalt
  • 2.5Cupwater
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Pistachio
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Cinnamon

Steps

    Mix the flour, semolina, sugar, baking powder, yeast, and salt with water until you get a liquid and homogeneous mixture

    Heat a non-stick skillet and cook the katayef over medium heat on one side only until bubbles appear

  3. 3

    Fill it with cream, walnuts or your favorite filling and then close it as shown in the video

    Fry in hot oil until golden

  5. 5

    Immediately immerse them in cold syrup after frying.

    Sprinkle cinnamon on top and garnish with grated pistachios
