  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1CupBrown rice
  • 1Psc.Chicken stock

    Remove the skin from the chicken and cut it into four pieces.

    Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, olive oil, lemon juice, za'atar, and paprika.

    Heat olive oil in a cast iron pan and sear the chicken until lightly golden.

    Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan and sauté until softened.

    Cut the mushrooms into small cubes

    Remove the chicken from the pan, then add the mushrooms and season with salt and black pepper.

    Deglaze the pan with balsamic vinegar and a little water, then add the lemon juice and stir.

    Return the chicken to the pan, then add the rinsed brown rice and mix.

    Pour in the chicken broth, cover the pan with aluminum foil, and bake in the oven until the rice and chicken are fully cooked.
