Waffles
Ingredients

- 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Baking powder

- 20Tablespoons (tbsp)Vegetable oil
- 40Milliliters (mL)Melted butter

Beat the egg with sugar and vanilla using an electric mixer until the mixture becomes frothy.

Add the milk and a quarter cup of the butter and vegetable oil mixture to the egg and sugar mixture and mix well.

Sift the flour with the baking powder and a pinch of salt over the wet mixture.

Gently stir the mixture with a silicone spatula to keep the air in and make it uniform.

Brush the waffle maker with oil.

Pour an appropriate amount of batter into the waffle maker (do not overfill to avoid overflow).

Close the waffle maker and let it cook for 5–7 minutes depending on the thickness and strength of the appliance.

Sprinkle powdered sugar over the waffles after removing them from the waffle maker.

Serve the waffles with fruits and butter, or any toppings you like, such as cream, ice cream, jam, or Nutella.
