    Rinse the red beans well, then soak them in water overnight (about 8 hours).

    The next day, rinse the beans again and place them in a pressure cooker with water and salt, then boil for 5 minutes after it starts whistling.

    Drain the beans and transfer them to another pot.

    Chop the onion, place it in a pan with oil, and fry until golden brown.

    Cut the Iraqi bread and add it to the pot with the beans, stirring until it absorbs the broth and flavors.

    Transfer the bean and bread mixture into a serving tray.

    Pour the fried onions over the top.
