Ingredients

  • 1.5Kilograms (kg)Black grapes
  • 1.5CupGreen grapes
  • 1Cupwater
  • 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Baking soda
  • 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Citric acid
  • 2CupOil

Steps

    We wash the grape clusters well.

    We add baking soda, citric acid, and oil to the hot water.

    We place the green grapes in the boiling water for 2 minutes, then remove them.

    We place the black grapes in the same boiling water for 2 minutes, then remove them and let them cool.

    We separate the grapes from the stems and spread them on trays lined with cloth pieces.

    We leave the grapes under the sun during the day and take them inside at night.

    We turn the grapes twice daily for six days until they dry completely.

    We place the ready raisins in airtight glass jars for storage.
