- 2Teaspoons (tsp)Turmeric powder
- 700CupRaw Peanuts

Sort the raw peanuts, removing any empty or spoiled ones, and cut off any stems if present.

Spread an even layer of peanuts in a large baking tray, ensuring they are not piled up for even roasting.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).

Place the peanuts in the oven and heat them for 10–15 minutes until they are hot.

In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup hot water with 2 tablespoons salt and 2 tablespoons turmeric, stirring well.

Once the peanuts are hot, remove them from the oven and pour the hot water–salt–turmeric mixture over them while still hot.

Stir the peanuts well so they absorb all the liquid.

Return the tray to the oven for another 10–15 minutes.

After the time is up, turn off the oven and leave the peanuts inside until they cool completely and finish roasting.
