    We prepare a pot and add butter and vegetable oil over medium heat.

    We add the chopped onion and sauté until it softens slightly.

    We add the minced garlic and stir until fragrant.

    We add the sliced mushrooms to the pot.

    We stir the mushrooms with the onion and garlic for a few minutes until their color changes.

    We season the mixture with salt, black pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg.
