Steps

    Prepare the qatayef mixture according to the instructions on the package.

    Heat a frying pan over medium heat and pour the mixture in small circles into the pan. Flip the qatayef when browned on both sides.

    The first filling is: 1/2 cup ground walnuts 1 tablespoon crushed coconut 1/4 cup raisins 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1-2 tablespoons syrup

    The second filling: Kiri cheese

    Fill the qatayef with either the walnut mixture (ground walnuts with shredded coconut) or with Kiri cheese, as desired.

    Place the filled qatayef on a baking sheet. Drizzle the syrup evenly over them.

    Bake the qatayef in a preheated oven at 200°C until they are golden brown.
