Ingredients

  • 9Psc.Tomato
  • 4ClovesGarlic
  • 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Tomato paste
  • 1PinchSalt
  • 1CupSugar
  • 9PinchThyme
  • 9BunchBasil
  • 0.5CupChopped thyme
  • 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Chopped Basil
  • 1CupOlive oil

Steps

    Cut the tomatoes into four quarters, and place thyme, fresh basil, and about four cloves of garlic between them.

    Roast the tomatoes in the oven until cooked.

    Remove the thyme and basil, then peel all the tomatoes.

    Put the peeled tomatoes and garlic cloves into a blender and blend well until smooth.

    Add olive oil to a pan over heat.

    Add two tablespoons of tomato paste or ready-made sauce.

    Add the blended tomato and garlic mixture to the pan.

    Let the mixture simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes until it thickens.

    Add a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of sugar and a pinch of chopped thyme and basil

    Stir the sauce well, then remove it from the heat.
