Steps

    Wash the lentils thoroughly, then place them in a pot with water and salt. Let them boil over medium heat until tender (about 20-25 minutes). Then drain and let them cool slightly.

    Place the cooked lentils, garlic, onion, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, salt, and black pepper in a food processor bowl.

    Blend the ingredients well in the food processor until you achieve a smooth and uniform mixture. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little water until you reach the desired consistency.

    You can garnish it with a drizzle of olive oil or a sprinkle of cumin if desired.
