- 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Dried Lime powder

We place the crushed chickpeas in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil until fully cooked.

We drain the boiled chickpeas.

We heat the oil in a pot over medium heat.

We add the chopped onion and sauté until soft and golden.

We add the minced meat and sauté with the onion until it changes color and partially cooks.

We add the tomato paste and sauté with the meat and onion until the flavors combine.

We add the boiled chickpeas to the mixture.

We add the salt and spices (black pepper, seven-spice mix, dried lime powder) and stir well.

We add the tomato juice and water, then stir the mixture thoroughly.

We leave the mixture on high heat until it boils.

After boiling, we reduce the heat to medium and let it thicken slightly until reaching the desired consistency.
