  • 1Psc.Chicken stock
  • 4Teaspoons (tsp)Ghee
  • 4ClovesMinced garlic
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Ground Coriander

Steps

    Boil the chicken (breast or whole) with whole spices, bay leaves, black pepper, and onion until cooked.

    Melt two tablespoons of ghee in a pot.

    Sauté the garlic cloves and chopped cilantro in the ghee until fragrant.

    Gradually add the fresh molokhia leaves and squeeze lemon juice over them.

    Add the chicken broth and boiled chicken to the molokhia and stir.

    Prepare the garlic garnish: Melt 2 tablespoons of ghee, then sauté 4 minced garlic cloves with finely chopped cilantro.

    Add the garlic garnish to the molokhia and stir lightly.

    Serve the molokhia with vermicelli rice or bread as desired.
