Lemon and Mint Syrup
Ingredients
- 1.25Cupwater
- 2.5CupSugar
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Yellow food coloring
- 0.5To TasteMint
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Green food coloring
- 0.75CupLemon Adalia juice

Place ¼ cup of water in a saucepan over heat.

Add ¾ cup of lemon juice.

Add 1¼ cups of sugar.

Add a few drops of yellow food coloring

Grate the lemon zest that has been squeezed, then add it to the mixture.

Stir well until the sugar dissolves, then let the mixture boil for 2–3 minutes.

Remove from heat, strain, and allow it to cool completely.

In the same saucepan, pour 1 cup of water and add the mint leaves.

Stir until the sugar dissolves, then boil the mixture for 2–3 minutes.

Remove from heat and allow it to cool completely.

To prepare a refreshing drink, place a teaspoon of mint syrup and a few ice cubes in a glass.

Add a spoonful of lemon syrup.

Fill the rest of the glass with cold water, soda, sparkling water, or any drink of your choice.
