Ingredients

- 100CupFlour
- 100Grams (g) Butter
- 0.5CupMilk
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
- 4CupSugar
Steps

Separate egg whites from yolks and place each in a separate bowl.

Sift the flour into a large bowl.

In a small pot over medium heat, add butter and milk and heat until the butter melts without boiling.

Immediately pour the hot butter–milk mixture over the flour and whisk well.

Add egg yolks one at a time while mixing, then add vanilla and combine well.

In the egg whites bowl, add sugar and beat with an electric mixer until white and creamy.

Gently fold the yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites.

Line the sides of an 18 cm cake pan with plastic wrap and foil.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and place it inside a larger rectangular pan.

Pour boiling water into the larger pan halfway up the cake pan.

Bake in a preheated oven at 150–160°C for 60 minutes until light golden.

Let the cake rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
