Ingredients

- 5Cupwater
- 3Psc.eggs
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
- 0.75Tablespoons (tbsp)Vegetable oil

- 2CupYogurt
- 2CupFlour
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Baking powder

Wash the peaches thoroughly

Cut the peaches in half, then slice them into thin wedges.

Arrange the peach slices in the bottom of a cake pan.

In a saucepan over low heat, place ½ cup of sugar and 4–5 tablespoons of water. Stir until the sugar caramelizes and turns golden.

Pour the hot caramel over the arranged peach slices in the cake pan.

In a mixing bowl, whisk 3 eggs with 1 tablespoon of vanilla and 1 large cup of sugar until light and fluffy.

Add ¾ cup of vegetable oil and whisk again.

Add ½ cup of milk and 2 tablespoons of yogurt, and mix until well combined.

Sift 2 large cups of flour with 1 tablespoon of baking powder and a pinch of salt, then gradually add them to the wet mixture.

Stir until you get a smooth and lump-free cake batter

Pour the batter over the peaches and caramel in the cake pan.

Use a wooden skewer to gently remove any air bubbles from the batter.

Place the pan in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) and bake for about 45 minutes or until fully cooked.
