We pour in the cooled anise infusion along with the anise seeds and mix.

We cut and serve the cake.

We remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool slightly, then invert it.

We bake it in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 40 minutes

We pour the batter into the prepared pan.

We grease a cake pan with tahini, then sprinkle sesame seeds on the bottom and sides

We add the dry ingredients to the batter in three batches, mixing after each addition just until the flour disappears, being careful not to overmix.

In a separate bowl, we sift 2¼ cups of flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of baking soda.
