Place 1 cup of date paste, 0.5 spoon cardamom, 0.5 spoon cinnamon, 0.5 spoon instant coffee, 0.25 teaspoon vanilla powder

Add 1 room-temperature egg, 0.5 cup brown sugar, 0.5 cup oil, and 0.5 cup milk in a blender, and mix all the ingredients together.

Sift 2.5 cups of flour with 0.5 spoon baking powder and 0.5 spoon baking soda.

Add the date mixture to the flour, then add 0.5 cup milk and mix.

Spray a baking pan with oil and distribute the cake mixture evenly.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35 minutes, using only the bottom heat.

In a pan, add 0.5 cup sugar and 0.25 cup water. Stir until the sugar caramelizes.

Add 250 ml of milk to the caramelized sugar and stir well.

Mix 0.25 cup of milk with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and pour it into the caramel mixture.

Add 1 tablespoon of butter and stir until the caramel reaches the desired consistency.

Let the caramel cool.

Fry the knafeh in a little butter for decoration.

Once the cake has cooled, pour the caramel on top while it's still warm.
