- 0.5CupChopped Walnuts

Mix the flour with the baking powder, cornstarch, and vanilla in a large bowl until the dry ingredients are well combined.

Crack the eggs into a separate mixing bowl.

Gradually add the sugar to the eggs while beating until the mixture becomes creamy.

Gradually add the water while continuing to mix.

Gradually add the oil while mixing until fully incorporated.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, stirring continuously until a smooth batter forms.

Grease the cake pan with oil or tahini using a silicone brush.

Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan.

Sprinkle nuts on top of the batter if desired.
