Ingredients

- 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Baking soda
- 360Tablespoons (tbsp)Buttermilk
- 100CupYogurt
- 100CupOil
- 2Teaspoons (tsp)Cinnamon
- 90CupSugar
- 200Cupwater
- 150CupHoney
- 1CupNuts
- 1Grams (g) Butter
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Citric acid
- 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Clove

Place 360 g of buttermilk and 100 g of yogurt in the bowl of a stand mixer.

Add 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, flour and 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Mix all the ingredients well until fully combined.

Add 100g of oil and continue mixing until the batter is smooth.

Grease a baking pan with a piece of butter, then line it with parchment paper.

Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan.

Spread the batter evenly.

Sprinkle 1 cup of chopped nuts, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon over the surface of the cake.

Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for 25 minutes

Meanwhile, prepare the syrup by placing 200g of water, 60g of sugar, 150g of honey, and 1 clove in a saucepan and bringing it to a boil.

Add a pinch of citric acid or lemon salt to the syrup.

Once the cake is baked, remove it from the oven and pour the hot syrup over it.

Let the cake rest for 6 hours so it can absorb the syrup completely and become soft and flavorful.
