We place the flour, semolina, sugar, dry milk, anise, mahleb, and fennel in a bowl.

We grind the mastic with a little sugar and add it to the mixture.

We add a pinch of instant yeast.

We toast the sesame seeds and black seeds.

We add the toasted sesame seeds and black seeds to the mixture

We mix the dry ingredients well.

We add half a cup of olive oil and half a cup of animal ghee.

We knead the ingredients until they absorb the oil and ghee.

We add a cup of boiling water and a tablespoon of aniseed and stir them
