We place the warm water in a bowl and add the yeast and sugar, stirring until dissolved.

We add olive oil, milk powder, and salt to the mixture.

We gradually add the sifted flour and mix until a dough forms.

We knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

We grease a bowl with oil, place the dough inside, and brush the surface lightly with oil.

We cover the dough and leave it to rise in a warm place for 45 minutes.

After rising, we punch down the dough and divide it into four portions.

We dust the surface with flour, roll out each portion, and shape it into a log.

We dilute date molasses with a little water and dip the logs in it.

We dip the logs in toasted sesame seeds until well coated.

We place the ka’ak on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let it rise again for 45 minutes.

We bake the ka’ak in a preheated oven at 200°C (top and bottom heat) for 15 minutes until golden brown.
