Ingredients

Steps

    Soak 2 cups of chickpeas in water for 12 hours.

    After 12 hours, boil the chickpeas in a pot with 1.5 L of water and 1/4 tsp baking soda.

    Cook the chickpeas on medium heat for 1.5 hours until fully cooked.

    After the chickpeas are cooked, drain them

    Place the chickpeas in a blender with 2/3 cup of lemon juice, 3 garlic cloves, 1/2 cup tahini, and 2 tsp of salt.

    Mix the ingredients well until you reach the consistency shown in the video

    Place a portion of the chickpeas in a serving bowl and drizzle with olive oil

    Divide the remaining chickpeas into three equal portions.

    To prepare chickpeas with beetroot Add part of the chickpeas to the blender with the boiled beetroot and then blend well until the ingredients are homogeneous.

    To prepare basil chickpeas Add a portion of the chickpeas to the blender with the basil leaves and blend well until the ingredients are homogenized.

    To prepare hummus with roasted peppers Add a portion of the chickpeas to the blender along with the peeled roasted peppers and blend well until smooth.
