In a pan, we add the milk, cornstarch, flour, egg yolk, vanilla, and sugar, and stir everything well while still cold until combined.

We place the pan over medium heat and stir continuously until the mixture boils and thickens into a custard-like consistency.

Once the mixture cools completely, we add the whipping cream powder and cold milk, then beat using a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.

In a glass serving dish, we arrange a layer of tea biscuits after briefly dipping them in milk.

We spread a layer of the custard mixture over the biscuits evenly.

We repeat the layers, alternating between biscuits and custard, until all ingredients are used—making sure the final layer is custard.

We refrigerate the dessert for at least 2 hours to set.

Meanwhile, we chop the strawberries and place them in a pan with 3 tablespoons of sugar. We cook them over medium heat for 7–8 minutes until they become syrupy.

Once the strawberry topping cools completely, we spoon it over the top of the dessert and serve chilled.
