Ingredients

  • 1.25CupGluten free oat flour
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Gluten free baking powder
  • 2Psc.eggs
  • 0.5CupBrown sugar
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
  • 6Psc.Dates
  • 0.5Liters (L)Hot water
  • 0.25CupOil
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Cardamom powder
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Cinnamon
  • 1PinchRoasted Pecans
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Tahini
  • 1CupDates syrup
  • 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Baking soda

Steps

    Combine oat flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl.

    Soak the dates in 0.5 cup of hot water for about 10 minutes.

    In a blender, blend the eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, date mixture, and oil until smooth.

    Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined

    Add the cardamom and cinnamon, and stir to incorporate

    Pour the batter into a large mold or individual molds

    Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) until cooked through

    Garnish with toasted chopped pecans, drizzle with tahini and date molasses, and sprinkle with a dash of cardamom
