Ingredients

- 3Tablespoons (tbsp)Tomato paste
- 3Teaspoons (tsp)Turmeric powder
- 3Teaspoons (tsp)Ground Coriander
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Cumin
- 1To TasteBlack pepper
- 1Liters (L)Tomato juice
- 2Psc.Chicken stock
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Cinnamon
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Dried Lime powder
- 0.5PinchGround ginger

We heat 5 tablespoons of clarified butter in a pot over the stove.

We add 4 chopped onions and stir them until they soften.

We add 3 tablespoons of mashed garlic and stir the ingredients well.

We add 3 cans of tomato paste to the mixture and stir until well combined.

We add 3 tablespoons of coriander and 3 tablespoons of turmeric, then stir again.

We add 1 tablespoon of cumin, black pepper, cinnamon, dried lime or lemon zest, and 1/2 tablespoon ginger, then stir until the flavors meld.

We add 2 bouillon cubes (optional) and 1 liter of tomato juice, and stir until the mixture is homogeneous.

We cover the pot and let the mixture cook on low heat for 30 minutes until the flavors are fully blended.

We let the paste cool, then divide it into portions and store it in the freezer for later use.
