Ingredients

- 0.5Milliliters (mL)Melted butter
- 1CupWarm milk

Combine all the dry ingredients

Add the olive oil and melted butter, and rub the mixture until all the dry ingredients are coated with the fat.

Gradually add the warm milk and knead gently until a soft dough is formed. Cover and let it rest for 10-15 minutes

To prepare the filling, mix the date paste with your favorite combination of spices (I added cardamom, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon) and 1 tablespoon of butter. Knead the dates until very smooth.

Start shaping the cookies as shown in the video.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 15 minutes, until golden and crispy
