    We prepare the batter by mixing semolina with sugar, oil, and a pinch of salt, then adding eggs, vanilla, baking powder, and milk, and finally incorporating the cream until the mixture is smooth.

    We divide the mixture into two parts, setting one part aside and placing the second part in a greased baking dish. We then put it in the oven at 180°C for 15 minutes, baking it from the bottom only.

    We prepare the cream by placing 4 cups of milk in a pot, adding 5 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of vanilla, and 8 tablespoons of cornstarch. We then put the mixture on the stove and stir until it thickens, as shown in the video.

    We take the basbousa out of the oven, then pour the cream on top and let it sit for 15 minutes to set.

    We dilute the second part of the basbousa with milk, then pour it over the cream, as shown in the video.

    We place the baking dish in the oven and turn on the top heat only, leaving it until it gains a golden color.

    We bring the sweetened condensed milk and dilute it with evaporated milk or regular milk. Then, we take the basbousa out of the oven and pour the condensed milk on top, as shown in the video. Enjoy!
