  • 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Cardamom powder
  • 1PinchSaffron
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)White Vinegar
  • 1CupSugar
  • 1PinchSaffron threads

Steps

    In a bowl, we add 3 cups of powdered milk and 1 liter of lukewarm water, and mix thoroughly.

    On the side, we beat 12 eggs on medium speed for 3 minutes.

    We add sugar to taste and continue beating for another 3 minutes.

    We add the prepared milk mixture with about 0.25 cup of ground cardamom, and continue beating for 2 minutes.

    We pour the mixture into the baking pan.

    Add some powdered saffron and mix well using a wooden stick, then some saffron threads.

    We seal the pan tightly and bake it in the oven at 180°C for 1 hour.

    After removing from the oven, we test it with a wooden stick. If no liquids appear, the "Bar al-Walidayn" is ready.

    We let it cool completely, then place it in the refrigerator for a full night.
