    Rinse the rice thoroughly and soak it for half an hour.

    Fry the onions until they turn a deep golden brown.

    Add half of the onions to a food processor along with the remaining ingredients, and blend them well.

    Pour the mixture over the chicken. In a skillet, add the ingredients and then place the chicken in the skillet.

    Add the potatoes and the remaining mixture to the pot, and cook until the potatoes are tender.

    Add the rice to a pot of boiling water and cook until the rice is done.

    Add a layer of rice to the pot with the chicken, followed by a layer of onions, then another layer of rice. Let it cook for half an hour.

    Then add the soaked saffron and a piece of charcoal. Drizzle the charcoal with oil.
