    We add the cold syrup and mix well.

    We melt the hazelnut chocolate using a double boiler.

    We press half the kunafa in a cake mold, raising the edges.

    We add half the melted chocolate over the kunafa layer.

    We spread the rest of the kunafa on top and level it gently.

    We let it cool for about an hour or more.

    We release the kunafa from the mold and flip it onto a serving plate.

    We cover it with the remaining chocolate and garnish with crushed hazelnuts.
