Ingredients
- 300Grams (g) Ground meat
- 3Psc.Chopped Onion
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Cumin
- 1To TasteBlack pepper
- 1PinchSalt
- 1ClovesMinced garlic
- 1Grams (g) Butter
- 1Liters (L)Tomato juice
- 1Grams (g) Hot chilli

Mix the filling ingredients: minced meat, 2 large finely chopped onions, cumin, black pepper, and salt until well combined.

If making the dough at home, mix flour with salt and water to form a firm dough. Let it rest, then roll it out thinly and cut into circles.

If using ready-made sambousek dough, prepare it and stuff each circle with a small spoonful of the filling, sealing the edges well.

Steam the mantu for 20-25 minutes until fully cooked.

To prepare the red sauce, sauté the onion and garlic in butter or oil until soft.

Add the tomato puree or fresh juice, along with salt and black pepper. Add chili if you prefer a spicy taste.

Let the sauce simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes until it thickens.

Serve the mantu hot with the red sauce.
