  • 3Psc.Chopped Onion
  • 1Psc.Fried Potatoes
  • 1.5Tablespoons (tbsp)Moroccan Chicken Tagine Paste
  • 1To TasteMoroccan pickled lemon
  • 1To TasteMoroccan Olives

Steps

    Wash the whole chicken thoroughly.

    Prepare the marinade by mixing olive oil, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, saffron infusion, Moroccan chicken tagine paste, and all the spices

    Coat the chicken well with the marinade and let it rest for at least 2 hours or overnight for better flavor.

    In a clay tagine pot, spread the chopped onions at the bottom.

    Place the marinated chicken over the onions, pouring in any remaining marinade.

    Add the preserved Moroccan lemon to the pot.

    Cover and bake in a preheated oven at medium heat for about 1 hour until the chicken is fully cooked.

    Add the Moroccan olives and broil the chicken until its skin turns golden brown.

    Remove the tagine from the oven and garnish with fried potatoes.
