Ingredients

  • 3Psc.Dates
  • 0.5CupWarm skimmed milk
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Unsweetened cocoa
  • 20Grams (g) Dark chocolate
  • 1PinchSalt
  • 1CupSkimmed Milk

Steps

    Soak the dates in ½ cup of warm milk for 10 minutes until soft.

    Blend the soaked dates with the milk using a hand blender until completely smooth.

    Pour the blended date mixture into a saucepan or small pot.

    Add 1 tablespoon of raw cocoa to the mixture.

    Add about 20 grams of chopped dark chocolate.

    Add a very small pinch of salt and stir well.

    Add 1 cup of skimmed milk (or coconut milk) to the mixture.

    Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until all ingredients melt and blend well, being careful not to boil the milk.

    Pour the healthy hot chocolate into serving cups immediately.
