  • 0.25Tablespoons (tbsp)Turmeric
  • 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Ground Coriander

  • 1PinchCumin seeds

Steps

    In a skillet over medium heat, add a little vegetable oil. Sauté the finely chopped onion, garlic, and ginger until softened.

    Add the peas or the peas and carrots mixture to the skillet, and you can follow one of two methods: - Either pre-boil them as mentioned. - Or let them cook on low heat with the onion, garlic, and ginger, covering the skillet until the mixture is fully cooked.

    Mash the boiled potatoes until they are coarse and not completely smooth.

    Add the mashed potatoes to the mixture along with chopped fresh coriander and spices (garam masala, curry powder, turmeric, ground coriander, and salt).

    In a special step, we heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil, add a tablespoon of whole cumin seeds, and stir it on low heat for two minutes until the aroma is released. Then, we add the cumin to the filling and mix well. (Alternatively, you can reverse this step by adding the cumin with the onion and garlic at the beginning).

    Using ready-made spring roll wrappers, we start by filling them with the prepared potato filling and seal them in the desired shape.
