    Wash the green chili peppers and dry them well.

    Cut the green chili peppers lengthwise into halves, or into thin slices.

    Place the cut peppers on a tray and expose them to sunlight for 10 days until completely dry.

    Grind the dried peppers in a food processor to get coarse chili powder.

    Grind another portion of the dried peppers in a grinder to get fine chili powder.

    Serve the coarse and fine chili powder in separate containers.

    Store the chili powder in the kitchen for up to one year.
