Ingredients

- 3Teaspoons (tsp)Ghee
- 4Psc.Yolk
- 0.3CupSugar
- 0.3Tablespoons (tbsp)Starch
- 2CupMilk
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
- 1Grams (g) Butter
- 1PacketPuff pastry sheets
- 1CupPowdered sugar
Steps

Bake the ready-made puff pastry at 200°C for 15 minutes until golden.

Whisk the egg yolks with sugar until pale.

Add cornstarch to the egg mixture and stir well.

Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until warm.

Take two tablespoons of the warm milk and mix them into the egg mixture to temper it.

Gradually add the mixture to the remaining milk, stirring constantly until thickened.

Add vanilla and stir until incorporated.

Remove from heat, add butter, and stir until fully melted.

Cover the pastry cream with plastic wrap to prevent a skin from forming.
